Fire Sunday damaged an attached storage shed of a one-story commercial building in South Los Angeles that also housed a barber shop.
Firefighters dispatched at 1:20 p.m. to 7021 S. San Pedro St. had the fire out within 15 minutes of their arrival, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Debarment.
The fire appears to have started in an attached storage shed and then moved into the wall of the main buildings, Stewart said.
“Firefighters will conduct overhaul operations to ensure no hot spots remain in the walls,” she said.
The department sent 28 firefighters to the scene.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
