Police Arrest Two Home-Invasion Robbery Suspects Following Chase

Los Angeles police Monday arrested two home-invasion robbery suspects who led officers on a pursuit to Hawthorne.

The chase started near Rosecrans Avenue and the Harbor (110) Freeway and led to the area of 136th Street and Jefferson Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to the LAPD, Harbor Division officers responded at 10:20 a.m. to a report of a home invasion robbery in the 300 block of Ninth Street.

Officers then saw a vehicle and suspects they believed were related to the crime and gave chase.

One man was arrested after the vehicle came to a stop, and the second man was arrested a short time later, police said. Their names were not immediately available.

Police recovered a firearm that one of the suspects allegedly threw out of the vehicle’s window during the pursuit, according to the LAPD.
