Sheriff’s Detectives Searching For Missing Lynwood Man, 30

Authorities continued to ask for public help Sunday to find a 30-year-old Lynwood man suffering from anxiety and depression missing for eight days.

Mark Urbina Jr. was last seen in Downey about 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 5, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Urbina is Hispanic, 6-feet-1 inches tall and about 300 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green shirt and green shorts, the LASD said.

He has four tattoos: “Wendy” on his left hand; “Mark” on his right hand; a Yankees logo with “Urbina” in the center on his left shoulder; and both “Carmen” and “Mi Querida Madre” on his left forearm.

Urbina drives a silver 2015 Kia Soul with California license plate number 7KYZ907, the department said.

Anyone with information on Urbina’s whereabouts was asked to call the Sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
