Sheriff’s Detectives Searching for Missing LA Man Developmentally Disabled

Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help Sunday to find a 54-year-old man who is severely developmentally disabled and went missing in Los Angeles.

Cornell Leone McKinney was last seen asleep at home at his residence in the 11000 block of Haas Avenue about 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to the LASD.

McKinney is black. He stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 141 pounds, the sheriff’s department said. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black, zip-up hooded sweater and has a multi-colored wrist band on his left hand, the LASD reported.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s missing persons unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
