Firefighters Saturday were working to put out a smoky fire behind a metal wall at a Laguna Niguel firing range, authorities said Saturday.
The Orange County Fire Authority sent out a second-alarm response at 2:31 p.m. to the commercial building in the 27000 block of Camino Capistrano, said Capt. Tom Bommarito.
The response was scaled back when firefighters traced the flames to a void space behind a metal wall and determined the fire was small, Bommarito said. They were working to cut through the metal and put out the smoky fire.
No injuries were reported, he said.
