Man Found Dead After Deputies Respond to Report of Suicidal Person in Temecula

Deputies responding to a call of a suicidal person found a man dead inside a vehicle at the Promenade Temecula shopping mall Saturday.

Just before 4 p.m., the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said deputies and a SWAT team responded to the area of Winchester and Margarita roads and asked the public to avoid the area.

The department later said deputies discovered a man dead inside a vehicle.

There was no remaining threat to the public, according to sheriff’s officials.
