Rapper TMG Fresh was robbed Thursday outside his home in Encino while returning to the residence with another man, according to police and reports from the scene.
The crime occurred about 2:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of Hayvenhurst Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, which could not confirm that the rapper was one of the robbery victims.
Police said three armed men confronted the victims outside the residence and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry. No injuries were reported.
According to CBS2, TMG Fresh, whose given name is Douglas Jordan, was returning home with a friend when they were held at gunpoint by three suspects.
The rapper, whose hit singles include “Throw A Stack,” “Silk Pajamas” and “Millionaire,” is the son of Quinn Delaney and Wayne Jordan, who are major philanthropists and influential political donors in the Northern California area, according to The Blast.
According to The Blast, TMG Fresh has been very public about his wealth, and videos appeared on YouTube and other social media showing cars and watches he owns. TMG Fresh also owned multimillion-dollar homes in the Los Angeles area and sold a 7,500-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion for just under $8 million, The Blast reported.
